Rockstar Games officially announced the final release date for Grand Theft Auto VI on November 6, 2025, confirming November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The new date was itself a delay — the second, after the original Fall 2025 window had already moved to May 26, 2026.

What We Know
The game launches simultaneously on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. No PC release window has been announced, following Rockstar's long-standing pattern of console-first launches. Pre-orders opened on June 25, 2026. Every pre-order includes the Vintage Vice City Pack, and digital pre-orders add a month of GTA+.
Set in the state of Leonida — Rockstar's take on Florida — GTA 6 stars dual protagonists Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval in a crime story about a couple, centered on Vice City. It is the first mainline entry since GTA V launched in 2013.
