The two editions are identical but for the last two rows: the Ultimate Edition is the Standard Edition plus an exclusive premium collection, for $20 more.
The base edition — the complete single-player game. Every pre-order, and any copy bought before November 20, 2026, also includes the Vintage Vice City Pack.
Rockstar describes the Ultimate Edition as amplifying “the deepest and most immersive GTA experience yet” with premium vehicles, weapons, and apparel threaded across the main story. Exact contents beyond that are not officially itemized.
On pricing: these are Rockstar's own figures, stated in the June 24, 2026 press release announcing pre-orders — US dollars, before tax. Note that they do not appear on the Newswire post or on rockstargames.com/VI, which is why they were widely reported as unofficial for longer than they actually were. Grand Theft Auto VI launches November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. No PS4, Xbox One, or PC version has been announced at launch.
Pre-loading is available from November 12, 2026 for both digital and physical pre-orders, ahead of the November 19 release.
The Ultimate Edition differs from Standard only by its exclusive premium vehicles, weapons, and apparel. If those in-game extras appeal to you it is $20 more; otherwise the Standard Edition is the complete game.
