Only in Leonida: The Character Bios and Six Regions Rockstar Made Official

Published Covers GTA6DB Staff1 min read

Alongside Trailer 2, Rockstar rebuilt its site with written bios for nine characters and named six regions of Leonida. This is the backbone of every confirmed entry we hold.

The most useful GTA VI material Rockstar has ever published is not a trailer. It is the People & Places section of rockstargames.com/VI, built out alongside Trailer 2 and headed "Only in Leonida."

For the first time Rockstar wrote biographies rather than showing footage. Jason Duval "wants an easy life, but things just keep getting harder" — raised "around grifters and crooks," and after "a stint in the Army trying to shake off his troubled teens," working for drug runners in the Keys. Lucia Caminos: "Lucia's father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk." Fighting for her family "landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary. Sheer luck got her out." She wants the life her mother has dreamed of "since their days in Liberty City" — a direct line back to the wider Grand Theft Auto map.

Seven supporting characters were given bios of their own: Cal Hampton, Jason's friend, happiest at home "snooping on Coast Guard comms"; Boobie Ike, a Vice City legend turned legitimate operator across real estate, a strip club and a recording studio; Dre'Quan Priest, "more of a hustler than a gangster," who signed the duo Real Dimez; Brian Heder, who "looks like a Leonida beach bum — moves like a great white shark"; Raul Bautista, a bank robber hunting for talent; and Real Dimez themselves, Bae-Luxe and Roxy.

Rockstar also named six regions of the state: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga.

That list is why this database can say what it says. Every character and location we mark Confirmed traces to this page or to the two trailers. Everything else — the leaked map reconstructions, the rumored cast, the invented radio stations — sits outside it, and is labeled accordingly.
