What GTA 6 Trailer 2 and the site update that came with it actually confirmed — the protagonists' names, six regions and PS5 capture — and what is only inference.
Trailer 2 arrived on May 6, 2025, without a teaser campaign, and runs just under three minutes. Rockstar said it was captured entirely in-game on a PlayStation 5, in equal parts gameplay and cutscenes, and it is the trailer that named both protagonists: Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.
What Came With It
The same day, Rockstar rebuilt rockstargames.com/VI with around seventy screenshots, written bios for the supporting cast, and the names of six regions of Leonida: Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga. The trailer is scored to the Pointer Sisters' "Hot Together".
What the footage does not do is document game systems. Anything read off a background frame — a UI element, a shop sign, an animal — is an inference until Rockstar confirms it, and we label it that way in the database.
