What Rockstar Still Has Not Announced, Four Months Out
With the game four months away, the list of things Rockstar has not said is unusually long — and every gap on it is being filled by someone else's invention.
It is worth periodically writing down what is not known, because the gaps are where fabrications grow. Checked against Rockstar's own pages today.
No third trailer
Trailer 2, from May 2025, is still the most recent. Rockstar has not released or announced a third, and has given no date. Speculation clusters around Take-Two's August 7 earnings call for no reason other than that it is the next scheduled event.
No gameplay demonstration
There has been no extended gameplay walkthrough, no press preview event, no hands-on session, and no embargo. Nobody outside Rockstar has played it.
No PC version
Not delayed, not dated — never acknowledged. Every official document lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only.
No install size, and no confirmed disc release
Pre-loading starts November 12; how large the download is has never been stated.
No ESRB rating
"Not yet rated," per the June press release.
No soundtrack or radio station list
The only confirmed music is what plays in the two trailers.
No pre-order numbers
Take-Two has released none. The August 7 earnings call covers the quarter containing the pre-order launch and is the first realistic opportunity for any official figure.
Nothing about GTA Online
The game is described as a single-player experience; beyond that, nothing.
No detail on the Ultimate Edition's contents
beyond one sentence — "premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action." No item list exists.
What we do have is substantial: a date committed to in an SEC filing, two trailers captured on retail hardware, official bios for nine characters, six named regions, confirmed prices, and a pre-load schedule. That is a lot more than this series usually offers four months out.
The rest will come from Rockstar, on the Newswire, in plain language — as it has every time. Until then, this page is the honest inventory.
