Grand Theft Auto VI gives the series its first dual-protagonist pairing since GTA V — and its first playable female lead in the HD era. Lucia Caminos opens the story in Leonida State Penitentiary, and every trailer so far frames the narrative through her release and probation.
Jason Duval is introduced as a Keys local with a military past who "wants an easy life" — until Lucia arrives. Rockstar's official site describes the pair as partners in both senses: a couple, and a two-person crew pulling jobs across Leonida.
What The Trailers Tell Us
Trailer 1 established Lucia's prison arc and the Bonnie-and-Clyde framing. Trailer 2 confirmed playable perspectives for both characters, a shared safehouse economy, and dialogue implying trust mechanics between the two — choices made as one character appear to affect the other's story beats.
Voice and motion actors remain unannounced. Rockstar has historically kept casting under wraps until close to launch, so expect confirmation in the final marketing cycle this autumn.
