Grand Theft Auto VI gives the series its first dual-protagonist pairing since GTA V — and its first playable female lead in the HD era. Trailer 1 opens with Lucia Caminos in Leonida Penitentiary, introduced through a prison interview.
Jason Duval
is introduced as a Keys local with a military past who "wants an easy life" — until Lucia arrives. Rockstar's material presents them as a couple who also work as a two-person crew.
What The Trailers Tell Us
Trailer 1 established Lucia's prison arc and the couple at the centre of the story. Trailer 2 named both of them and showed them working as a pair, and the August 2026 Extended Look showed both in play. Rockstar has not described any shared economy or trust mechanic between them.
Voice and motion actors remain unannounced by Rockstar, even with the Launch Trailer out. The only casting claim so far is the actor Stephen Root saying himself that he is in the game.
